This map doesn't show the entire park, it goes further
north, under the 520 Hiway and up the ship canal.

Late in September, it was nice day with fall in the air.
We headed off to the arboretum near the University of
Washington.
One thing about this park, it was doomed to be a freeway
interchange during the 60's. That didn't happen, but
there is the approach to the Hiway 520 floating bridge in
the middle of it.

was designed, in part, by the Olmstead brothers -- famous
for their dad's work on Central Park in New York City.
