Making a hole in the roof seems to defy common sense.
There were no clouds in the sky, no rain was forecast for 48 hours, but getting the skylight installed and weather proof before nightfall was the goal for Saturday 3/2/02.
The last bit of roofing went on just as the sun was going down behind the Olympic mountains.
