This was Oly's first trip to Palm Springs. He is seriously considering the purchase of place for him and his horse, Jesse, to spend the winters there.
Another hike in the desert. This is about 15 miles to the east and north of Palm Springs.

One of the neatest things here was a cabin made of palm tree logs. Too bad I didn't get a picture of it!
There weren't really trails through this area, just a walk along an almost dry river.

A nice day; about 70 degrees, no wind.
