| Notice my Happy Hour shirt. |

It isn't like we drink too much...
we just happen to enjoy it frequently. |
| A mai tai for 2. |
| Taking a picture of myself... don't know why. |
| These were the best mai tais. A little place in
Laheina. Not a fancy resort. |
| This red drink was good too. |
| Getting ready for another night on tropical cocktails. |
| I was disappointed with this drink.
The picture of it had much more junk (flowers and palm fronds) in the glass.
There is only so much you can do with rum and juice. It is about the presentation. |
| Tropical itch -- complete with backscratcher. |
| A delightful tropical martini... no flowers though. They lost 2 points for presentation. |
| Jack almost always had mai tais.
This one had a white orchid plus 2 pieces fruit. They are back to even on presentation. |
| They could have earned bonus points with a
parasol. |
| But we never complained. We are happy drunks! |
| Greg might be drinking a "Lava Flow" here. That is pina colada with some strawberry puree. |
| At home, Greg only drinks shots of tequila with a diet Coke back. |
| I rarely drink the same thing twice in a night. |
| It is not all about booze. We also order food, or
"pupu platters". This time we happened to order a variety of desserts. |
| Before. A+ for presentation. |
| After. A++ for taste. |
| Still another mai tai. |
Finally. Greg gets a drink served in a fresh coconut.
Guy gets one too. His has an orchid. 3 points for presentation.
How sweet.... the mai tai that is.
Two fisted drinking. Or
perhaps a better caption would be the often seen t-shirt slogan:
"nice papayas" |

Over the years, I have
filled out many questionnaires, surveys and such for various studies
and the like. It seems like once you mention you have more than
"3-4" drinks a week, the next question is always something
like "have you ever sought help for your drinking
problem". My only drinking problem is slow waitresses and
non-creative bartenders.
