Our last night in Hawaii I booked us on a sunset dinner cruise.
| A simple "sailing boat" (the sails were up, but only for looks... we motored all the time.)
They had a nice meal that didn't include any Hawaiian food.
They did have an open bar. |
| We sailed out around 5:30 and puttered around the bay at
Lahaina for about 2 hours. |
| The seating was a little
cramped. It was hardly a luxury cruise. The light at
sunset was fantastic, as usual. |
| I bought this lei from a street
vendor before got on the boat. Throughout the cruise we
passed it around because the smell of the flowers was more
intoxicating than the booze. |
| Well, except for maybe the tequila
shots. |
| Some people (not me) saw a whale
during dinner. |
We sailed around until after
dark.
We flew back to Seattle the next morning. |
