Spring vacation is a concept I haven't really embraced since I was in school. In recent years, I've been longing to visit warm locales where people don't think of sun glasses as novelty items. So we planned a week-long get away to Las Vegas and Los Angeles.
We flew to Las Vegas, rented a car to get around and then drove to Los Angeles, then flew back to Seattle from LA. My goals for the trip were to see some "big" Vegas show; stay at a Disney hotel; drive by and see my old stomping grounds from when I lived in on the beach in LA.
