| Nearby forest fires gave us haze
making difficult for good exposures. |

Gregg figured this cliff was about a
1000 foot drop to the surface of Crater Lake.

| Gregg had been to Crater Lake with
his brother Paul in the summer of 1995. I was there with Jack in
1999, but it was early in the season and snow was still blocking
the Rim Drive. This was my first trip around the drive. |

| Still figuring out the new camera. |

It wasn't until later I realized the
automatic exposure was set to "+1" making the hazy day
even worse.

 |
| About an hour away from Crater Lake
was Klamath Falls. |
|
 |
| There we saw this neat "Pig Bus". I
took these pictures for Verna back at work. Even though she is well beyond
collecting pig stuff because it is cute, she still gets
souvenirs and stuff like this in her e-mail. |
